American Symbols

This week we learned about the American Symbols. The kids really enjoyed this unit..their writing has never been better! Each day we learned about a symbol and wrote three (or more) facts about it! They were so interested in learning MORE about each symbols....especially the bald eagle!

For homework this week, each child was to make a family flag that reflected their family. Here is an example. I loved this family flag!
